Annabelle Bragalone's Celebration

Hi! I am graduating from The University of Kansas School of Journalism on May 15, 2022! All I really want after graduation is to travel - I've missed it so much since Covid-19! I plan on taking a couple trips this summer (hopefully) before I move into my new apartment and start a new job. This website is my register for Iceland! Iceland is so beautiful. I have been before with my mom for a few days, but only got to see a part of the country; I have wanted to go back ever since! There are so many more things that I want to see and do in this amazing country! Any help from friends and family would be so greatly appreciated to make this trip possible!

Silfra Snorkeling Tour
Silfra is the only place in the WORLD where you can swim between two tectonic plates!! So, as you snorkel in Silfra, you are swimming directly between the North America continent and Europe continent. Another fun fact about Silfra: the water is 2 degrees celsius, which means that if were 2 degrees colder, it would be frozen! But I would wear a wet suit :) This is something that has always been on my bucket list and I would absolutely love to do with your help!

Stay at an Airbnb
I am planning on staying close to Reykjavík in an Airbnb. The Airbnb is actually on a horse farm surrounded by fields of grass, so it is beautiful! I'll be in Iceland for 5 nights and would love your help with my accommodations!

Food!
It's not a secret that Iceland is expensive lol! Since I am staying at an Airbnb, I plan on cooking/ making my own meals the majority of the time to save! But I would like to try the food at a restaurant once or twice on the trip, so any amount given will go towards groceries and all other food expenses.

Helicopter and Whale Watching Tour
Iceland is such a beautiful country and I would love to see it from above and below! I found a tour that takes you on a helicopter ride, then after takes you on a boat to whale watch. This sounds like such a cool experience and will be possible with your help!

Rental Car
There is so much to do and see in Iceland - the best way to get around is by car! Everything is pretty spread out and far away from each other so getting a rental car will be so helpful and save me a lot of money from having to pay for Ubers!
